Alpha Omicron Pi – Oklahoma State University
Commanding Architecture on Campus
The Alpha Omicron Phi sorority had never had a house on the Oklahoma state campus until they asked Krittenbrink Architecture to design and construct one for them. Working with a limited budget, and a strict allocation of land, our design had to account for a growing number of members, and a competitive parking situation. Our team has never shied away from a challenge, however, and used years of experience and some creative thinking to create a building that was a welcome addition to the OSU campus.
How We Constructed This Greek House
- Our design utilized the optimal amount of land provided for the project.
- Public spaces in the Greek house were designed to flow naturally from one to the other.
- Group bathrooms were designed to limit the amount of space needed and to maximize living space.
- A two-story foyer and staircase was designed to serve as a recruitment space and grand entrance hall.
